Whose baby does this?

Question

I have an eleven month old daughter who is an only child. Okay, and whenever I give her father a hug or a kiss or something, she like screams and clutches my pant leg or immediatley tries to make her way over to us. She also does this if he tickles me. Her grandmother was holding her in the kitchen and she HEARD me laughing when my boyfriend was tickling and she screamed! This is funny, but also annoying. Just wanted to know if I was alone and why does this occur? Jealousy I guess, but of what? Me, her dad, not being the center of attention?

My children did this also. She wants the attention too! She is jealous because mommy is getting attention and she is not right there in the middle of it all. She will outgrow it. However if you really make a big deal of her screaming she will continue because she knows mommy and./or daddy will respond.

Our son is actually the opposite; whenever he sees me and daddy hugging, he blows kisses =]

He comes over to get his hug.

He LOVES seeing daddy and I hug and kiss =]

my sister does this. she is basically an only child because all of us (her brother and sisters) are all grown and out of the house. she is only 4.. when her dad and my mom trying hugging, cuddling anything she gets in between them and throws fits..
