Whose better fantasy-wise Cheechoo or Marleau?

Cheechoo, although having an off year last year, he flashed his brilliant scoring touch towards the end of the season. Although Marleau is pretty solid, Cheechoo definitely has the game to bring you points, with well over 100 goals in the past 3 seasons.

It depends on what McLellan does with the lines.  Cheechoo has the most upside when he's playing on a line with Thornton.  If that's where he plays most of his shifts, he's probably the more valuable fantasy option as he's get you a ton of goals and powerplay goals.

Marleau has more talent and probably should have C/LW eligibility next season so maybe that counts for something.  If he's skating with Thornton or Thornton and Cheechoo, then you've got a couple of guys that are probably going to have similar fantasy value.

Regardless, Marleau's probably going to bounce back into form and finish with about 30g 50a and Cheech, now that he's healthy again, will probably get you 40g 25a.

hmmm.. they're both prettty streaky..if we're not counting playoffs, i'd have to say Cheech.. he's more reliable lately..
