Whose better kimmie meissner or emily hughes..?

Kimme Meissner I believe is more graceful, and fun to watch. Emily Hughes seems les "flowy" to me and Kimmie just looks like she IS a skater. She just has that skater look. Small, energetic, peppy, etc.

I love Kimmie but I LOVE sasha cohen even more. Sasha Cohen is my idol!!!!!

i really like them both, emily is graceful, but kimmie is exciting. i hardly even see emily compete anymore. you cant really compare because they both have different styles of skating. ( - 8*

Meissner is a better jumper and overall she has finished above Hughes in almost all the competitions.

While I see a lot of faults in Kimmie's skating, she's definitely the better skater. The point totals she gets (save for Level 4 steps and spins I think she desn't deserve) are definitely what she's earning rightfully for her skating.

I personally wouldn't say Kimmie's having a rough season because she's skating worse than before (on the contrary, she's getting more graceful with her arms each season and her jump problems are more psychological than that she really lost them forever); the issue is that Kimmie is basically getting the same point total she's always getting. The difference is that both Mao and Yu-Na are phenomenal skaters and are now age eligible. Also, Kimmie showed up at the worlds with a very dispar competition (none of the three Oly medallers showed up even though Sasha probably would have been able to easily win it). Kimmie basically is just being hit this season with the strongest skaters coming at once and this has psychologically affected her jumping which is the best part of her skating by far.

Leaving that aside, Kimmie does try to skate to the music at some parts of her routine. Emily has the bad habit of just skating with no connection at all to her music. That kind of skating was fine for the 90's, but now you need to be good at everything.

Although Kimmie has been having a pretty rough season this year, she's the better skater. In most competitions, she finishes ahead of Emily and she's definitely better technically.

As for artistry...I'm not quite sure who is better - they're sort of different. Emily is a great performer though.
