Its not fair! Poeple with lisps cant even say it properly..damm those stupid word maker uppers

  1. Every person with a lisp i hear say it says "lifp" but yes it is a stpid idea

It is not in the least bit foolish, but derives from the word, being used to describe the "sound" made by people with a lisp, i.e it is a "sibilant"  ( another word many with a lisp can find hard to pronounce! ), sound, made by the tongue and lips used together, it is properly described as "onomatopoeia" as in the grouping of words, mimicking, the sound made by the words, such as, "clattering over cobbled stones" it is a way of describing this condition, so others who have not heard it may understand, it is not "made" for the use of a sufferer. sad that you find it so funny, do you also laugh at wheelchair users ?

  14. I read somewhere that it was a person with a lisp who did that. I don't know if that is true, but if so, that person had the gift of a great sense of humor.  Laughing at one's self is good, I do it all the time and it's so liberating!  :)
