Well, I haven't heard of this recently.

That's pretty stupid. Maybe they've given up on the 2008 campaign...I wouldn't blame them, their dropping farther and farther in the American League East.

He's one of the best Center fielders in the American League, and I'm guessing the General Manager had something to do with it. Joe Girardi, too.

The Manager and General Manager, in my opinion it was the stupidest thing i have ever seen a manager do, even though he was in a slump how can you send him down. He better get called back up soon. GO MELKY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

the GM's maybe? doesn't matter, i think it was the right decision, the only way you'd disagree with me is if you haven't seen him play this year.

More than likely it was Management's decision. I like Melky but he's been very bad lately & maybe a stint in the Minors will give him the confidence that he needs again.
