1. Great secondary

2. Good but not great front 7 that can get the job done

Postional breakdown:

Safety= Brian Dawkins (future HOF) and Quinten Mikell (on of the best special team contributer in NFL history... espn ranked him in the top 100 nfl players in history)

Cornerbacks= Asante Samuel (lockdown corner who shuts down his half of the filed) Sheldon Brown= (Hard hitting corner who breaks up passes) Lito Sheppard= (coverage corner who can support his own without help from a safety on the deep ball

Line Backers= well this is the weakest group on the roster but they are young and learning and Omar Gaither can become and NFL great if he continues to produce

Defensive Line= Let by Pro Bowler Trent Cole and young rising star Brodrick Bunkley, this group of men will dominate Qb's and O-lines fthis season

Defensive Cor.= Jim Johnson (safe to say he is one of the best D Cor. in the NFL)
