I know the answer is Barack Obama's, because more than 15 oil companies are giving money to McCain's Campaign. Why? Because his plans will put more money in their pockets. Of course, Yahoo Answers is 80 Percent Republicans and 60 Percent idiots, so let's see what you all think. :)

  1. Neither one.

They don't have anything to do with the gas prices.....we have more control then either of them.

If we continue to watch how much gas we use.....the prices will continue to come down.

  2. Neither one will effect any change.  It is set by the interplay of OPEC /PRC/other major fuel consumers and the only thing their policies will do is amuse OPEC and drive the price up if it has any effect.

Reducing fuel consumptionPERIOD ! is only cause and effect impact we can have---how this is achieived doesn't matter---- if we shut down the entire economy  the effect would be felt but we's be out of business.

  3. the market will adjust automatically.

  4. Strong Obama supporter that loves much of McCain's energy policy. Electric utilities will not be leaving scene soon, so make it as easy as possible for them to go nuclear and re-process fuel. See no reason why states can't be given option to let drilling off their coast. Both support tax credits for alternative fuel, but like how McCain will not make it one sizes fits all or tax credits will be based on greenness of car, but he did say that was his position while visiting electric car plant. Would trust Obama to get mutilation out of gas commodity markets. Wish one would show some vision like when first data processing chips appeared on the market by stating basic ground rules and letting market pick winners and losers. It is possible gas could become like whale oil.
