  1. Islam is more realistic than Chrisitianity and puts responsibility on both the man and the woman.  Christians tend to think people can willfully control their animal nature, and even if women do not dress modestly, men can control their gaze.  I agree to a certain extent, but I think hijab takes away that fitna (hijab serves other purposes as well that benefit the woman and her nafs).

A man with taqwa should be lowering his gaze, or should move to a proper muslim country (not Dubai for gods sake).

As for your comment, no one's talking about s***s or bikinis.  Hair is erotic, period.  The neck, the arms, is all awra, bikini or no.

  2. men will always lust after women.its what we do. thats why we have marriage, to put that lust in an allowable not anarchic, constructive framework

  3. Both male and female have feelings that is natural but it is the way one controls those and acts. That is why we are required to lower our gazes, however it is human nature to err and go along with ones feelings.

  4. Both.. If women fear Allah , they should obey what he has told..

Cover up your selfs as mentioned in the Quran..

and Men, if they fear Allah too, they should make sure that their one small glance doesnt become a lustful glance, The shaytan tempts them alot..

  5. both are responsible....

you dont have to put a restriction on men only and women restricted to their obligation by saying  """Now pls dn't generalize to extremes by comparing a non-hijabi as a s**t and one who walks in bikinis on streets.""""

what would one think of a woman in bikini !! ok not a s**t but an exhibitionist ! why would a sane woman wear a bikini on street !

man always lusts for women..this where Glorious Quran says "lower your gaze"

where ever Glorious Quran prohibits something ,,like adultery, idol worshipping...it is evident that humans would do those sin,,therefore Glorious Quran prohibits those sins, and very few take the heed

  6. it is the man in the first place .. but depending on the situation, the girl might take part of the blame or not

this why, one of the 7 people that God give them his shadow in the day of judgement, is a man who was lured a woman with high level and beauty. Then, he said, I fear God.

it means it takes a strong will to say no in such situation.

  7. Both of their Fault. Both should be Responsible for that.

If women are fully veiled the men wouldn't lust her at all.If the women Lower their gaze she wouldn't lust the men.

and the Men have to Lower their gaze too, so he wouldn't lust for the mini skirt wearing bikini Kaafir girl.

  8. I believe its men who should take care of their gazesss

Ofcourse women will wear what they wish to wear, just cos of avoiding a man's gaze they wontbe so modest in their dressing right :)

A man will definitely look at a woman whether she is wearing hijab or a bikini or a gown or anything, its their nature...

And for those women who wear clothes just for men's attention then that's different case :D Then i believe they should take care too :D

  9. Both.

They should get laid for once and get it out of their systems.

  10. It is boths responsibility. Both should lower their gaze. If the girl is causing attention to be put on herself, she is getting a sin for that. If the guy/girl is looking at her lustily past the first look, he/she is getting a sin for that.

  11. The fault would depend.

All we need to know in general is the obligation each of us have.  Which are roughly:

    1) Fear Allah

    2) Men to dress as stated in Islaam

    3) Women to dress as stated in Islaam

    4) Men to lower their gaze

    5) Women to lower their gaze

So whoever isn't doing their part as stated in Islaam should try their best to do so.

And if something serious happens even after this has been established, or it wasn't established by one party or both party etc. then the case would be taken to the Muslim Judge.

And at the end, Allah is the best of all judges!

  12. If the man is lusting then it is the mans problem and his own responsibility. Islam teaches women to cover so as to keep men from lusting over them, but what about other things that men lust over? Does a fat man need a covering for his cream-filled long john or is he able to control himself (ha ha)? Why are women beaten in the ME for not covering but men are not punished when they fail to avert their eyes? If it is a 50/50 deal then the punishment would be equal in every single instance. Perhaps the woman should have covered (though, I don't agree), but the man should have averted his eyes too. But, this is not how it works. Instead...woman is beaten with sticks while the men watch!

  13. I think that it is natural for a man to look at a woman (not stare, but like in passing) and for a woman to look at a man. But in passing and one glance. I read somewhere the one glance is permissible, but more than that is not.

I hope that answers your question on some level.
