  1. governor is for the whole state while the mayor is just for one city. States are also broken up into districts and in each district there is a congressman then there are also senators for each state. Hope that helps a little.

  2. I was having this very same question with a mayor and a governor the other day.  The mayor had only taken two hits off the bong and the governor had taken 5.  But the mayor smokes less often.  So I think that the mayor was higher then the governor.

  3. Governor is the top spot in a state. A mayor is city level. CEO is the chief executive officer of a corporation. Wife is the head of household.

  4. first superman then spiderman the batman because he doesn't have any powers

  5. I've heard of a mayor who was caught doing crack.....  I imagine he was pretty high!

  6. DEPENDS ON WHO IS TALLER

  7. governor..

  8. A governor is higher than a mayor.

A governor is head of government for the entire state, and is the chief executive authority, the powers of the governor are set in the state constitution.  The duties and powers of a governor  are, for the most part, the same in every state.

The duties and responsibilities of a Mayor vary from city to city.  It depends on the size of the city, and what the role of the mayor is, according to the city charter.  In some smaller cities, the position of mayor could be a ceremonial position with very little power, in others he may have considerable power.
