  1. Great design, resourceful information,user-friendly layout should be a good place to answer your questions.http://insurance.online-frees.info/insur...

  2. Your baby will be covered automatically the first 30 days of her life under your policy (double check with your insurance on this though).  After that you can add her to either your husband's or your policy, whichever policy you like better.  If you have insurance through your employers, it often costs money to add dependents so expect that additional cost.

  3. It probably depends on what state you live in. I live in New York and when I was filling out my hospital papers and got to the insurance page, it said that the baby HAS to go under the person who has their birthday first in the year. I'm the one with the insurance so obviously the baby is under it. But if my husband had insurance, the baby would have had to go under his insurance because his birthday is in August and mine is in October.

  4. Depending on the policy coverage and cost, it wouldn't hurt to put the baby on both.  That way, whatever the first (and best) policy doesn't cover, the other one will pick up.

I would call Blue Cross and discuss it with them directly.  Since it's both their policies, they should be able to give you clear direction.

  5. you could do both...

  6. no it doesnt matter. whichever insurance is better coverage go for it.

  7. It's not that difficult, and your sister is wrong.  Actually BOTH of your insurances will cover your child, however you have to decide which insurance will be primary and which will be secondary.

  8. If your policies are the same then just do inee meeny miny moe, but otherwise put it under whoever's policy is better.
