Whose subs will pound harder?

My one 12 inch MTX roadthunder running off of a 300 watt amp and an aftermarket sony deck

or

My friends two 12 inch subs in an enclosure. The brand of the two subs is duel. It runs off of a 1000 watt amp and a pioneer deck

probally your friends, but your will probally last longer and sound better later on because dual subs suck.

ya his will be louder but they also are POS

your MTX will.. me and my friend both have that same duel set up (like 1oo$ at best buy right?) and they bump but the quality sucks

His should be should be louder, 2 12s off 1000 should be about 6-8dB louder, that only applies if you both have the same box size and tuning frequency (if ported).
