Now that Mayweather's retired, it's safe to say that Joe Calzaghe is "Pound 4 Pound" the fastest boxer today.

Usually, the lighter you are in weight, the faster you are.  But for a Super-Middleweight/Light Heavyweight, Joe Calzaghe has tremendous speed.

His southpaw stance, blinding speed, ability to punch from different angles, and work-rate makes him a trouble for a lot of people.

Although there are faster fighter's in the lower weight divisions, Joe Calzaghe is currently the fastest boxer, pound for pound.

there is alot of fast boxers out there but alot of them dont have power. the fastest pace boxer is pacquaio because of his power in his speed punches really good combo if u can have both. and he dont let up he sees your hurt he will keep hitting that with a left hand so fast you cant even see it in slow mo

it depends on the weight.  if you watch a heavyweight match, you will notice that they're very slow.  on the other hand, if you watch a bantamweight match they're very, very fast.  in their own weight class, manny pacquiao is probably the fastest lightweight ever.
