  1. The Audiopipe has more rms/watts than the Comps so typically it would be louder, BUT the Kickers are a quality brand and the audiopipes are not so I'll say the Kickers.

  2. For loudness look at the sensitivity. Overall, the sensitivity rating will tell you how loud each speaker will sound on the same amp. My 10" Kicker comps are 87.5, and the 12s are probably around the same. The Audiopipes are listed at 95db, which indicates they should play MUCH louder on the same amp.

    However, 2 things to consider:

    1. Name brands are usually more conservative with measures like sensitivity and power handling. It may be that in the real world there's not a lot of difference, despite the HUGE numbers difference between 87.5 and 95db.

    2. Loudness alone doesn't tell you much. If the speaker plays loud (ie, moves a lot of air easily), but it's not very accurate (ie, it's loose and distorted), then you may find you don't like playing the Audiopipe as loud as it can get, because it sounds muddy or otherwise crappy. You may be able to play the Kickers at a louder level than the Audiopipes will go and still sound tight and clean.

I've never had Audiopipe, so I'm not saying they will sound muddy or crappier than the Kickers at high volume though. It's just something  to think about.

Both speakers will play louder in a ported or bandpass box, so if you have a weaker amp, you may want to look into a ported box. If you have a powerful amp and want tight clean bass, I'd say go with the Kicker in a sealed box.

If you just want loud, then go with the Audiopipe in a ported box, and you'll get the most SPL for your money.
