  1. hiiii how r u  my name is Tabbu i think its the best idea to take a foster child ill love to do that n take care of him/her bye c ya .

    bye tabbu.

  2. it depends on your circumstances...personally, i could never take in a foster child because i would get so attatched and wouldnt want to have him/her leave, haha. i think i would rather adopt

  3. Only if you have the time, love, money, patience and such to take care of one.  Otherwise buy a goldfish.

  4. Many people are afraid to take in foster kids, thinking they will be badly behaved.  Some are.  But in my school there are many foster children and they are far from our worst kids.  Some I would love to take home tomorrow.

If you have a stable home and the time to offer a child, it can be a good thing to do.  They usually do go back, though, and that can be hard because they aren't always going back to great situation.

Visits with parents, although necessary,  can be stressful, too, as you have to accomodate them in your schedule and they can stress out the little one.

  5. My friends did, he is still coping after 2 years being from a drug mother etc. they have grown up kids. Talk amounnst the family and see what suits you as a family. Foster parents gave him back several times because he was too hard to deal with.  Sometimes it seems the right reaction but you and your family could give in so many other ways!... I like the idea of sponsering a child....

  6. Well I guess that would depend on the need of the child,  if you are capable of providing what the child needs then yes it would be wise.

but you must understand, a foster child usually means trips to visit the parents,  in the visiting center,  trips to court hearing,  visits from social workers.

On top of any type of  emotional damage the child may have do to neglect or abuse.

becoming attached and the parents get the child back.

That is the down falls of fostering a child.

    The pay off is,

knowing you are helping a child in need,

The feeling you get inside when you start to rip down those walls.

helping a child that usually has no self confidence  become a confident person.

Showing a child who has learned not to trust  that  they can trust people.

It is a lot of hard work, patience, an red tape but it is also very rewarding.
