  3. Michael's craft store has them in the scrap booking section.  They aren't intended specifically for an escort card, but I'm pretty sure you can write on them. They had several colors as well.

  4. What you are looking for is called a "die-cut".  You are looking for paper die cut leaves.  A scrapbook store would be your best bet.  Archiver's has several store locations, and is also online.  At the Archiver's store, you can purchase paper in the weight and color you want, then die cut the leaves yourself.  If you can't do that, you could order them online through any number of scrapbook suppliers.  Google "scrapbook die cuts" and see what you get.

Another choice would be a teacher's supply store.  One is called Holcomb's.  They are also online.  The problem with the teacher's supplies, though, is that it may look more kid-like than you want it to, being more appropriate for a classroom bulletin board. (Leaves with smiley faces on them, for example).

Your leaf idea is a good one, and not too hard to do.  Keep at it and you should find what you want fairly quickly.

  5. Visit any paper or scrapbook store. Also google leaf die-cuts and it should give you several options about DIY. Good Luck

  6. You already got some good suggestions.  For something truly artistic and unique, post a request on www.etsy.com.  It's a site for artists all over the nation (and a great place to purchase handmade goodies).  There's a specific section where you can post a "desire" along with how much you're willing to pay and artists "bid" on the opportunity.

    Good luck!
