Wht formats does Sanyo katana DLX recognize for ringtone? i have a SD card but it didnt rcognize qcp or mp3.?

i bought a micro SD card for my phone and put the song that i wanted on it in mp3 and qcp format, but whn i tried to use it as a ringtone it said that the card is empty of media files. i dont know if the problem is with my card or the format of the song or........

you can't use files from your memory card on any sprint phone. Its a well known fact. They block that to make more money selling ringtones. Only option is pay for the internet
