Whts that peculair noise on my computer???

It keeps repeating as if an e mail has come in or something??? Thought someone was trying to attract my attention

Have a look in Ctrl+Alt+Del and see if there are any unknown programs running. Also look in the processes tab so see if there is anything you don't recognise there.

Check to see if you have any updating programs awaiting for your attention? Could be it's telling you to finis downloading or...

When this happens, I wonder? Had you just been doing anything earth shaking or moving? Computer do have a life of their own..lol
