Whoa! Just think about the impact media has on your life. Everything you read - newspapers, magazines, everything you see, television, movies - is all part of the media. You need to know how media presents things so you can tell if you are getting straight goods or propaganda. You need to know how advertising works, because that's media too. It's an important part of your life and you need to understand how it works and why it works.
