that would only let the coworker 'win' right? My mgr said I was "too sensitive" and that I should stay and "work it out" or I "would face similar problems at any new job"...

I emailed this persons mgr to ask if I can be assured it wont happen again (stating I am seeking counseling to learn to deal with this type of thing), and she replied that "I have talked to X, and she assures me she will act in a professional manner", while congratulating me "for my willingness/ persistance to figure this out"

  1. I wou;ld quit for them saying I was too sensitive,You dont therapy thats for weinies .You need a new job.

  2. Remember this other person is not acting mature.. so never quit a job if some immature person yells at you.. Accept constructive criticism.. criticism that is justified.. and given tactfully .  because that is meant in a friendly way so that you can learn to do something more efficiently or better and if someone yells at you for no reason... don't stoop to their level.. just smile at that person and look them right in the face.. and they will stop..  immature people pick on those who get affected by their stupid remarks..  if you show them you don't care.. which you shouldn[t because only an unprofessional and immature person would yell at a co worker unless something drastically had gone wrong and it was your fault. then they would yell for a reason... if you messed up big time otherwise there is no reason for that at all .. next time this happens show self confidence..if anyone gives you an attitude instead of wanting to quit.. '' smile at them and look them in the eye and say to them ''If you got a problem here then deal with it in a professional way and don't yell like a low class bar maid.. if you want to discuss something with me do this in a professional manner without yelling...'' then walk past and go on with work... this can happen in every job there can always be one troublemaker therefore you got to understand.. you are not inferior.. you are somebody and you have a right to be talked to with tact.. and if not. ignore them.... xx
