The primary reason that education is so expensive in this day and age is because the value of that education is worth more.

The *worth* of a student who as successfully completed a Bachelor's degree is more than one without and one who as a Masters or Doctorate degree as more value to both the employer, the country and the economy as whole than those without an education.

Employers place a value on someone's education in the form of a wage or salary and because these increase, so to does the value and cost of receiving that education.

Every thing has gone up so as the cost of education. Moreover  now a days peoples are earning handsomely, can afford and we are paying.

Govt. Institutions are still cheaper, provided you have the necessary marks to get admission there.
