  1. These children were in a refugee reception centre, in Greece. Sure the conditions were not perfect, but at least there was this centre and they were received there, they were given food and a roof. Before judging anyone, first open your own doors to these people, in other EU countries. They all arrive in Greece through Turkey, but the other EU countries won't take them, they just criticise the conditions Greece provides to them! And although I belive they should be treated the best possible way and have health care etc., I must say that strictly speaking, they have no right to demand to be left "free in Athens", as this kid was saying. They are illegal immigrants after all. They obviously prefer these "horrible conditions" to what was going on in their country, otherwise they can always go back, but they don't, do they?  I am not saying we shouldn't accept them, but Greece is carrying a heavy load in this sector and instead of criticism sometimes help is better.

  2. just to let you know alan  iam not going to play your game..perhaps england can accomadate those children instead of pointing fingers..remember if you point one finger there are alwasy four fingers pointing back at you.

  3. I believe that we all must care and help the people who are immigrants and want to have a better life in our country.

But Greece faces a big problem.

Greece, Spain and Malta are EU's biggest "doors" for immigrants.

But these countries cannot afford all this pressure alone. They should have the help of all the European Union.

As for this article... Greece is a small country, it's not like USA, UK or France. This country cannot manage this huge number of immigrants that get in her borders everyday.

It's like a house. If you have a house that is not big, how many guests can stay with you?

    3? 5? 8? let's say 10 maybe yes. But can you house 20 or 30 ? Even if you want you can't.

You may laugh with my example but this is the truth.

And before judge a whole country and a nation maybe it would be better to learn and understand their problems also and not only to wait by these 3 countries to solve the immigration problem of Europe !

Spain, Greece and Malta are relatively close to Africa, Asia and Middle East. We are not either Sweden or Norway which are on the other side of Europe far away from all these things.

EU must take measures and help these countries.
