Why 'authoritative woman' are found to be attractive?

Why is it that some men like women with strong personalities, bossy behavior (including humiliation of that man), attractive? I've seen that men find woman taller than them, stronger than them (physically and mentally) 's**y'? I mean, teenagers have crushes on their teachers, men, on their female boss etc. What is the PSYCHOLOGY behind it? If possible give me some psychology websites etc.
