  1. Why's nobody talking about Jacksonville going to the SB?

Probably because everybody but you thinks that they have no chance.

  2. Because they play in the toughest division in the NFL.  The Colts are consistently high on the win scale, the Titans are improving step for step with the Jags, and each year the Texans are getting a little closer.  This year may be a great year for the mid card teams in the AFC South.  With Jacksonville opening against the Titans in week 1, the winner of that game will take a huge chunk of momentum into the rest of the season.

It's obvious that the Colts are settling and will now be on a more even keel with the Titans and Jags.  The only question is, who will emerge as the division winner?  Right now, it may realistically be any of the 3, with the other 2 getting a wild card berth.  Let's get to week 8 or 9 and see who's in 1st in the South, and then we'll start talking Super Bowl chances.

  3. I'm a huge jags fan i lived in jacksonville for 15 years and i love the jags.I say this next year will be there breakout season.they will win 13 games and make a big push toward the superbowl

  4. cause they ain't Jack

  5. Because they are in the same division as the Colts, who get 11-14 wins every year, meaning the Jags would have to do it from a wild card position, going on the road and winning 3 straight times just to reach the superbowl.  Their only chance at getting any home games in the playoffs is beating the Colts 2 times during the regular season, and not many people see that happening.  I agree, they are a great up and coming team, but the SB this year seams like a little bit of a stretch.

  6. because they're in the same division as the colts. as long as peyton is playing they dont have a chance.

  7. Well, you have a valid point.  I think they have moved up to the top 3 in the AFC.  But here is the reason why the the talk about the Jaguars has not been a superbowl push.  The Jaguars are good, and they have a great defense and a flourishing offense under David Garrard.  However the Colts, and Patriots stand in their way.  It is a known fact that the Jaguars struggle to beat the Colts, and they do even worse against the Patriots.  I think if the Patriots were not as good, and the Colts were not so high octane on offense, then the Jaguars would be a consideration for a superbowl run.  However their offense is not strong enough to carry them there.  Their defense has always been stingy, but their offense still needs to group together to even have a chance at beating the Colts or Patriots.  They are not yet a complete team as the Colts or Patriots are.  The Jaguars are good, but I think they need a few more weapons on offense to beat the Colts or Patriots..

  8. Because they're not going to the Super Bowl.

  9. i sure have my prediction is cowboys vs. jags in the superbowl

every question that asks predictions for the 2009 superbowl thats what i've been saying

  10. Because this is yahoo answers, and your not getting the perspective from other people.

  11. BECAUSE they're not going to the superbowl...they're one quarterback away.....last year was a fluke for Garrard...he's not Tom brady level...matter fact if they where in the NFC they would go to the superbowl...but they cant beat the patriots or the colts

  12. Because they are a small market football team. It's annoying, I cheer for another small market team, that tends to get no love from anyone, the media or the public. People would rather talk about The Cowboys, The Patriots, The Steelers, The Chargers and so on...The NFL Primetime schedule reflects this too. The Jags could go 14-2 this year make a solid playoff run and only get 2 maybe 3 primetime games if they're lucky, whlie the Cowboys could have a horrible year finish 6-10 a still have 5 or 6 primetime games the following season. It's a shame but that's just how it is, money talks.

Small market teams simply get no love from anyone in the NFL except from their loyal fans.

By small market I mean teams like ( The Jaguars, The Titans, The Bills, The Bucs etc.)

  13. no SB for jags
