  1. Mexico may have asked Google to remove them from the database

  2. It sure would be handy, but since that info just has not been put in Google's format yet, the next best thing is to use the website below or get a Guia Roji..the Mexican road atlas.  You can order them on Amazon.com.

  3. you don't wanna seee....especially the border

  4. Mexico may be hiding somthing, they don't want sattelites taking pictures of them all the time ;).

  5. I don't know what you mean exactly. What do you want to see? I have google earth and I can see my farm, even the cows. Not everywhere is possible to see, but not only Mexico, I tried to see a specific town in Wisconsin and it was no possible. Sorry, I would like to help you more.

If you need real maps with actual info, the best company in Mexico is Guía Roji (more accurate than any other). You must buy maps to them.

  6. You should use Google earth it´s better

  7. well, from living in mexico, i can tell you that in general the roads are very unreliable.  it's hard to keep a map accurate with so many small towns, with the crazy tiny roads.  it's all very localized.....people rarely carry maps, you just stop and ask someone who lives there because they are really the only one whose going to know for sure....and even then...one day a road is accessable, one day it's not.

but i totally hear you.  it's like....the toll roads aren't going anywhere, downtown mexico city isn't changing, so why can't google maps cover that???  i find it really annoying as well.

  8. It just hasn't been done.

  9. Roads in Mexico are complicated. But , i have used Mapquest for road details and is very accurate actually for major highways. In order to use that, you need to type a U.S. address in the search box, and from there you need to scroll down with your mouse until you see Mexico and you'll see that addresses will appear.

An alternative is to use guia roji  www.guiaroji.com.mx for maps of Mexico City, Guadalajara and Monterrey. You may also try the maps from the Reforma newspaper  www.reforma.com , click on "Guia del Angel">Mapas  those are the best maps I've seen online and are natiowide, very much alike Google maps or Mapquest.
