Why AIDS FUND? Why not FUEL FUND?

I know I won't get AIDS, only pervs and drug addicts get them...

And Scientists are getting million and million of dollars for to do AIDS research, Cancer research, and all....

But we really need to raise fund for FUEL RESEARCH...

So we won't have to pay high price gas and oil.

And if there are shortage of Diesel, then we need to

get rid of Tobacco crops and grow more CORN crops.

Or whatever!!!

their is more oil in tobacco than corn--but since most know how to make moon shine- its easier to use a food instead for a cash crop

First of all, massive amounts of money is being given to research fuel. Most of the major colleges and universities are researching alternative fuels in some capacity. The government, fuel companies and private individuals are giving millions of dollars to alternative fuels research and funding.

Also, you must consider that fuel is a business with profit to be made. If someone is developing a fuel, they have an opportunity to make money, and a lot of it too. However, the medical researchers have little, if any, opportunity to make a profit with their work.

I do think growing crops like corn instead of crops like tobacco is a good idea. Good for the health of the planet and the health of the people.

Not just pervs, g**s and junkies get AIDS, but that's another topic of discussion.

I completely agree with you there, however they consider people's health and diseases they could get a a problem to be dealt with before fuel troubles. I mean, high gas prices isn't going to kill you is it? But AIDS might. But still, my side is on the fuel research.

For one Corn sucks for fuel.  Check the links out and you should be as pissed off as I am that we are getting ripped off.  We don't need fuel research we need the big companies out of the picture or we will never have free energy.

BTW=you could get aids.  Not just pervs and drug addicts get it you ***.  plenty for children was born with it,  there are plenty of doctors that have gotten it from treating patients, and people get rapped.  Your rude to assume only pervs and addicts get it because many people get it that are not either.
