Question:

Why Am I Cross Eyed?

This may be a weird question but it might affected when I was little. My left eye is ok but my right eye is not. When I look straight my right eye seems to go at the left. The doctor said eye excersises well help but I doubt it. I have night contacts and I'm not sure if that is the cause of it. That helps improve my vision. Is there any possible way that my right eye can be normal again?

  1. Um..... its from crossing ur eyes 2 much. If u do that too much, they get stuck. Or its an affect from time ago (Like injury). Not contacts, they dont do anything. Eye excersizes? No. They dont help. The doctor couldnt think, I guess, LOL> Try moving ur eye and keeping it there, (in the middle (normal)) or if it looks funny, (if ur seeing weird & dufferent & funny), dont do tht.. U r unique if u have eyes like tht, but creepy. Jk!! I am good with eyes. I know a lot about them. This is not a weird question anyway.

  2. Do the eye exercise the doc reccommended.  They help strengthen the muscle in the eye.  Everyone has an eye that is a little off, some are just more noticable than others.

Sometimes it just genetic and there is nothing you can do except the eye exercises.  Also, Try coviering the eye that is straight and reading with your slightly off eye.  Making it concentrate on what is straight ahead of it.

The results will not happen over night, but if you are dilligent, you will see improvement, but the exercises will probably always be a part of your daily routine.

    Good Luck, Jackie

  3. Practice reading with each eye separately.  This will strengthen the muscles in them.  That is how I got over my lazy eye and increased my vision in it.
