Why American Commentators?

American commentators are so hypocrite, they say good things about their athletes, and make issues of others. Are all americans like that?

I imagine the communist Chinese commentators are much more objective.

Why not listen to them instead if you are so offended by the American ones?

I wish I had a decent explanation for this. Unfortunately many of the "commentators" are retired former pros. So they feel the need to interject un-interesting anecdotes and compare current athletes to themselves, when they were in their hey day.

Assuming you are referring to NFL commentators, since it's posted in football section. Many American skip the pre-game shows and wait until the actual game, to side step the pitiful antics of the commentators. During the game it is almost unavoidable.

The two best are Joe Buck and Troy Aikman. If you can catch a game with these two, they set the bar fairly high.

Not sure how to comment on your question about all Americans acting like commentators. That's a pretty bizarre notion.

Hope not. Basically I tune on to watch a game, not listen to all the hype and sarcasm of different athletes. I wish they could "define" the game as its played. not add all the B.S.
