I have to make a poster In which I have to make a poster explaining why they're and how to prevent them?

  1. There's rally no way to predict them accurately. The most they could issue is an Avalanche Watch. Which means that conditions are favourable for an avalanche. They also happen very rapidly and there's pretty much no time to escape them.   2. There is no warning that an avalanche is about to occur, and it can take very little to trigger one. Unfortunately it is many times a skier or snowmobiler who moves across a sloped field of seemingly ordinary looking snow, only to set the whole field in motion downhill with whatever and whomever is on it.

    They cannot be prevented, as they are a natural result of certain combinations of snowfall, slope, and temperature. The only thing that can be done is to try to artificially set them off using explosive charges fired from a safe distance, out of the path of the avalanche.
