  1. for the same reason you do not act the same way in a bar or as in church...


  2. influences of other kids. they find a kid they think is cool and try to act like them or impress them. or they get picked on or made fun of. there is so many reasons they act different.

  3. maybe because if they want to be popular they try to act cool istead of at home u can just be your self because (hopefully) you parents like you for who u are.

Peer pressure, plus just the fact that they are in public.  Even adults usually put on their best smile and behavior in public.  Sometimes though, kids do the opposite in school, you know acting tough or like the class clown.  The same thing drives this though, a desire to impress other people.

  5. Totally different social dynamics going on. It's actually a fascinating topic. If you are really interested in understanding it better, look into sociology books at your library or courses (if you are old enough for college courses).

  6. They're not as comfortable with teachers/strangers/other kids. Just how it is.
