Why Are Most 100m Runners Black?

I've just watched the olympic 100m and all of the competitors in that event were black. How come black males are faster than caucasian and asian men?

there is a theory that the slave trade had somthing to do with it as owners of slaves influenced the breeding  just like they did with there lives stock and crops to get the best production. I have no idea how true this is but I did read it somewhere a long while ago

In countries where black people are in a majority, such as Jamaica and other caribean countries, people are more likely to have either very fast twitch fibres or very slow twitch fibres.  The faster twitch fibres you have the faster you can run, but the shorter the time you can run at that pace and vice versa, this is why 100m runners & 200m runners are mostly black and also why long distance runners are usually black.

i asked myself that.

There's black skinned countries (Jamaica, africa ect) that compete in these olympics but so do australia and US.

Im stumped.

well most of them are from Africa and they tend to compete in these more then Caucasians and such.. and Jamaica is known for there runners.. and also most of the us runners are black.. only other countries like Austria have white runners..

Because black males tend to be the fastest in track and field. and the 100m is where the fastest are.
