Why Are People Against Obama Because...?

Question

His skin is darker than yours? If you can not accept someone with a different skin color than yours running for the presidency of the United States than you are not an American.

Hasn't America always been labeled the "Melthing Pot" or "Country of Immigrants." The people who founded our government were from another country! (I can only rule out the American Indians as being the first Americans because we are talking about government and not just people living off the land) Just because your skin is white (though you may be ITALIAN-American) it does not make you better than an AFRICAN-American who's skin is black.

To keep the question short, I will stop there, but I am just so dumbfounded and sick over why people are so close minded and so ignorant as to what our country is about.

My reasons for not wanting Obama in office have nothing to do with the color of his skin.  I have not ever voted for a liberal of any race or nationality, why would I start with Obama?   I have voted for black candidates for various offices though, but always conservative ones.

I am for Obama. I am a left leaning moderate, therefore, I know many conservative and moderate Republicans. What I see is that those conservatives who are educated and don't listen to the Sean Hannitiy's and Rush Fat-head's of the world, are treating Obama like they did Al Gore, John Kerry or any other white liberal Democrat. In other words, I get the impression that they simply disagree with Obama based on ideology and not skin color. Same with educated moderate Republicans, though I've actually seen many of them break ranks and come over to support Obama. The hate and racism seems to be mostly coming from the uneducated people on the right who only fill their brains with conservative talk radio sound bites. They do this because they do not have the intellect and objectivity to do their own unbiased research and form their own opinions.
