Question:

Why Are Pro-Lifers Forced To Pay Taxes To Planned Parenthood?

In case you missed it, this is what Planned Parenthood has been up to:

• Planned Parenthood is currently under criminal investigation in Kansas for falsifying documents and performing illegal late-term abortions.

• In California, the former Vice President of Finance and Administration for the Los Angeles Planned Parenthood has accused California Planned Parenthood of defrauding taxpayers upwards of $180 million.

A pro-life group from Texas called 800 abortion clinics, posing as a 13 year-old girl with a 22 year old boyfriend, trying to obtain an abortion. Clinics repeatedly warned the underage girl not to reveal the age of her boyfriend. This is in direct conflict with laws in every state that mandates healthcare workers to report suspected s*x crimes against underage teens.

  1. Because they do much more the abortion services, but perhaps you are just looking for something to gripe about.

PP also provides birth control, gynecological services, prenatal care (gosh they ACTUALLY help women that want to keep their babies....gasp) and education that might possibly help someone to avoid an unwanted pregnancy or contracting an STD.

Women do not need the government controlling their uterus and we certainly don't need your opinion on it either.

  2. Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh... I wanna answer this one soooo bad! But I will be nice.

  3. That is a good question.  I don't want to pay for abortions whether they be in the first trimester, late term or live birth.  I want nothing to do with that funding, but that's the government for you, they decide it's right and we all pay.

  4. Without going into this line by line, here's a recent story from the Washington Post:

Ending a three-year investigation launched by his socially conservative predecessor, Kansas Attorney General Paul Morrison (D) notified a Planned Parenthood clinic this week that no criminal charges will be filed. He said "an objective, unbiased and thorough examination" showed no wrongdoing.

Phill Kline, a strongly antiabortion Republican defeated by Morrison in November, started the criminal inquiry against two Kansas abortion clinics on grounds that doctors may have conducted illegal late-term abortions and failed to report cases involving underage girls who, by statute, could have been considered victims of rape.

  5. Why is that my tax dollars go towards the reelection funds for politicians I did not vote for and would like to see out of office? Why is it that an administration for a government that has a clear division of church and state openly supports and contributes to the religious right? Why is it that most of the federal deficit is due to a war that the majority the country does not support?

We can really go on all day but the question is why are you using an open forum such as this to openly berate Barack Obama and those of us who believe in the woman's right to chose?

You don't like him--don't vote for him.

And FYI--they'll never throw out Roe v. Wade

  6. And liberals have to pay billions for the conservative war machine.

Quit your complaining - you're still ahead.

  7. Why do I have to pay taxes for kids to go to schools when I don;t have kids?

The list is endless. Tax dollars go to all kinds of things.

  8. Maybe the best question ever posted here.  I would like to know a real answer.

  9. This is an awesome question!!!! I didn't know about this!!! Thank you for sharing!

I am very against Planned Parenthood. I am a strong advocate of abstinance in order to just stop unwanted pregnancies altogether. Star for you!
