Because my older brother is running for governor and I'm a big fat guy with a tendency for getting into comical mishaps involving my clumsiness.  Oh, and I have a smaller sidekick who specializes in making snarky, condescending remarks at my expense.

I also ran away from home at age 17. Also way too much drama at home with having a step-dad and younger siblings at home and both parents like the booze too much.Unlike you though, I called the day I turned 18 to let them know I was still alive.

But I am not the Black Sheep.

My favorite older sister was. She really was something else, I could write a book on her. Unfortuantely, she died several years ago at age 43 from an asthma attack.

My family is very liberal - WAAAYYyyyyy to the left of the present liberal candidates for office... and I'm a staunch conservative.  Not much to talk about at Thanksgiving dinner!

I've also traveled all over the world - and my family has lived in the same place forever - but insist on telling me what it's like in other places and what it's like in the "real" world.  Yeah, go for it! I'm a guy, so let me tell you everything you need to know about being a girl...

My family is very close-minded and racist, and I actually let people prove themselves to be jerks before I treat them like jerks.

My family claims to be very religious, as do I, but they don't follow the tenets of their claimed faith and I have a more live and let live attitude.

Is there any wonder at why I'm treated like a pariah?  And I'm the only one that broke out of the mold my family forged.  Thank the deity of your choice!!

Im not "the" blacksheep. Im "one of the" blacksheep. There is a whole group of them in my family. See my family is mostly LDS, except my mother, two of my uncles and an aunt (out of 12 children). So basically ,anyone who isnt LDS is considered blacksheep. However my mom was like the oober blacksheep because she married at 16, popped two babies out by 19, the first was placed in foster care (long story). Im the second baby she got to keep. Then if that wasnt enough, she spent the next 15 years (of h**l) being selfish, immature, and partying.She cleaned up later, went back to school and goes to church (Baptist). My uncle Jacob comes in a close second since he is an alcaholic stoner who has a child with a woman who had two other children from two different men that he cant get over. He refuses to and hasnt dated anyone else (also quit mormonism). His daughter is 8. Sad. Then comes my Uncle David (who left mormonism too). Who went to massuese school but he is a pervert who hooked up with an alcaholic woman (who looks like a man). She has two daughters 14 and 19 who are very misbehaved. And a son with my uncle whom she now uses to mooch off of him. My Aunt Daisy is the last of the bunch, she's a blacksheep because she just quit mormonism and joined the Baptist church. Other than that, she is good. Me, I dropped out of college halfway through my first year, got pregnant, got married, moved away and havent made the effort to keep in contact with anyone (except my mother).Im also not LDS.
