That place is so good! You'd think that in a city of 8+ million people, there'd be at least one!

  1. NYC has some of the best deli's around. There is no need for another Subway or Quizno's or John's on every other block.

If you have never tried a deli sub in NYC you don't know what you are missing. Try Andrew and Franks in Astoria, Queens. We go there at least once a month. Their veggies, cheese, breads, mustard and mayo (among other ingredients) are so fresh you will forget about John.

Also worth trying are 'ino, 'Snice, and Abbondanza's.

Maybe 8+ million people do know what they are talking about.

  2. Well NYC is also lacking Bojangle's...looks like the Big Apple doesn't have everything after all.

  3. not as many chain restaurant in new york city... in general, NYC and the folks here gravitate to the more unique, nyc only restaurants - the things that make new york unique... BUT if it is that good, and they are doing well economically, its only a matter of time before they try nyc out ...
