Why Arsenal fans should not worry as key players leave the club – EPL Debate
The Gunners will not be the only ones. It is a norm that has been carried forward season after season. Why should this one be any different? Why is there such a big fuss being created this time around? It is just another English Premier League summer transfer
window that is open.
Each season, every manager reflects on what just transpired and they all look to make changes. Of course they will look to find that perfect combination that bring the club laurels, trophies and the more sought after, heavy pay cheques. Given Arsene Wenger’s
dilemma this season and yes the ever mounting pressure, he has more the reasons to make the changes.
We all agree how good some of his players are. We have no doubt regarding their talent and abilities. But what has this talent actually translated in to? The young, talented footballers have showed signs of brilliance in patches throughout the Premier League.
But to the disappointment of their fans, the Gunners failed to live up to the expectations. It was like watching a roller coaster ride. The club chased Manchester United at number two position for a while, went on to the top for a brief moment, and then succumbed
to their opponents and ultimately dropped down to fourth.
Cesc Fabregas is a great player. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 fans sound. Why?
The combination has obviously not clicked. Maybe they should not have been put together in the first place. Taking a highly optimistic approach, there are enough great footballers that play the game. Wenger seems to know that for sure. Finally, he is looking
to open up his cheque book. Arsenal will actually become a seller club! Well, Wenger has a legacy to write. He does not want to be remembered as a manager who was very good but maybe not good enough.
In order to stamp his authority, Wenger is starting to be open minded and interestingly enough, open hearted too. He is very keen to bring in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Nicklas-Bendtner-c27726. Ignasi Miquel could be paired with Bendtner in the sent off
to Bolton.
He may not want to let go Gael Clichy just yet, but Clichy’s contract ends with Arsenal next year. Making a purely move for financial reasons, Wenger will look to sell of the defender for nearly £15 million while he still can. Next year, Clichy will be a
free agent and Arsenal will not be able to bag any money for his departure. The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Defence-c38904 had nothing much to do anyways. Therefore, Wenger might as well make the change.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Robin-van-Persie-c31380 has also been touted with a move. Where? That is not confirmed yet. But he is one player that is Arsenal to the core. Perhaps, he is most loved too. Wenger should do all he can to hold on to him.
The fans must also understand that these changes might actually turn out to be fruitful for their club. Their previous team has not clicked for six years. The philosophy has not either. A change is inevitable. Hence we see the most active Wenger has ever
been. He is looking to rope in the likes of Juan Mata as the winger, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Rolando-c31583, another centre back. All the replacements will be worthy of a call up to the ranks at Emirates.
Fans do not need to fret. Build and build the team strong. That should do the trick. May be not immediately, but eventually for sure.
