You can tell a great deal about what someone actually thinks of you, by exactly what they are being rude about, and exactly how rude they are being. Is it vitriolic or affectionate? Are the words intended to wound or tickle?

An analogy for our Transatlantic cousins; imagine a game of "Yo Mama" e.g. "Yo(ur) Mama's so poor she can't afford to pay attention!", where everything in your life is the subject of criticism, everybody you meet is always playing, and every critique is loaded with nuanced subtle layered meaning. The major difference is that the objective isn't to show how funny you are, it is to tell someone exactly what is wrong with them.

As a footnote, this means that the British are not boarderline paranoid. Paranoia is where you think everyone is getting at you. In Britain, everyone is actually always getting at you about everything they say and do all the time.

according to me it is because of ego of themselves being a british and they read themselves as the best amoung any others who it maybe.but practically speaking they should come out from that so called egoism coz now times had changed and logically speaking others had even overtaked from britishers in many field .

lastly,british girls should should change there attitude other wise if others started getting rude to them ,then there so called ego will be washed away with a splash on there face.
