Why Can't I download Music??

every time i go to download music of the interent, an icon doesn't pop-up asking me if i want to save or open the file, instead it just loads a blank page on the internet, and plays it from there and wont let me save it and i dont know what to do.

right click on the file's link..."save target as" or "save file as" (whichever choice is given on the drop-down list)...then the save/open prompt should appear.

You can right-click and 'save as...' every time.

You could also go into your browser settings (are you using IE7? IE6? Firefox 2, or FF3?)

IE7 look for Tools, then click Internet Options. Go to advanced, then scroll to media. There are some settings there which can disable what is happening to you. Try unclicking the one which causes sounds to play.

Your other option is to hit the button at the bottom to reset internet explorer. but this will reset EVERYTHING. Be careful.

It just craps. Go in this site www.downloads.com and search some Lime wire or frostwire,simple music or whatever to downloads.

I suggest you install LimeWire.. it's a simple, easy-to-use, free music downloading program.

try this:

go to youtube find the music video you want (the music video to the song you want) copy the URL (example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a6zdhHLvT...

then go to http://catchvideo.net/ and paste the URL into the URL space they give you. The websites a little slow so give it a min.

then hit the "Audio Only (mp3)" button for SOUND ONLY then click convert and download.

when thats done click download.

You can open it but really saving it is like way better. then once youve saved it drag the file to itunes or zune where u put your music at. if u dont have zune or itunes just email me about it.
