Why Can't Life Be Like It Was In The 80's?

I'm tired of rap/ hip hop and all of this ( so called ) "music". I wish Rock and Roll would come back... More bands like AC/DC, Black Sabbath, Aerosmith, ect. would be AWESOME! But instead we get P Diddy, Lil Wayne, T Pain, and all of them... I dont mean to be racist but ever since black people started making music... its sucked.

Plus back in the 80's everyone was so nice, friendly, outgoing, and fun. Now we have gangs and people who kill and hurt others just for fun.

The world was so much more fun and exciting back then...

Also, back then Metal Music was Black Sabbath... Today's Metal Music is a bunch of people screaming their @$$es off and you cant even tell what they're saying...

Well, anyways, does anyone think life will EVER revert back to the better times??? Or does anyone besides me even wish it would???

That comment about 'blacks' was racist, and I have to say, I think some music by them is good, and some is bad. Stereotyping their music is just like stereotyping 'white' music, and I like their gospel music =)

The world kinda sucks now. I wish there weren't all these wars and screamo music, and all of these fake people, but I guess that's how we have to live, hey?

I agree with you about music, it all seems to be down hill, white or black, doesn't matter. However as far as people being so different and the world not being as nice as it "was" then... I don't see that so much. I think you were just younger and happier with your life then, so naturally the world seemed better to you. Life is what you make it, so buck up!

Wow...Man o man You said "ever since Black people started making music. it sucked'.   Dude, I'm white, been a drummer for over 18 years, played in many bands and if it weren't for Black people you wouldn't have rock and roll. I'm not into rap or hip hop but look at Chuck Berry, Little Richard, Jimi Hendrix I could fill this whole thing with Great Black artists from Rock to Jazz to R and B to Blues and Black people have contributed greatly to music of all genres. Even Elvis Presley imitated African Americans.  I agree with you that music seems like its at a standstill but to say what you say embarrasses even me.
