  1. If you stay in your basement, where you most likely reside, you will never have to see the inside of a court room.

  2. would you want some face-less people deciding your fate

  3. Why don't you quit whining and just do your civic duty?

  4. The reason we have what we have is that the Constitution guarantees the accused the right to confront his accuser in open court and to be tried in public by a jury of his peers.  It is manifestly true that what happens on line is without quality assurance, and cannot be believed on its face.  Electronic communication is just bits, and bits can be twiddled - how can one know whether what one is seeing via the Internet is not a virtual reality simulation instead of actual reality testimony.  You cannot always tell someone is lying face to face, but you can never tell whether someone is lying over the Internet.  If the objective of a trial is to find out the true facts, to the extent possible, it must be done in person, face to face, with the lawyers, the judge, the witnesses and jurors all looking each other in the eyes.  That is just basic human nature, basic psychology.

The business of court house security is unrelated to the matter of finding out the truth so that justice be done.  Most site security in America is performed by a bunch of lowest bidder clowns who have no idea how to detect trouble.

  5. Hackers, foreigners, computer geeks.

  6. Well it is simple why you cannot have internet trials, because the internet can stop working suddenly, there can be lag, and the very likely chance that you will be too busy ebay-ing and yahoo answering to pay attention to the trial.

  7. because you cant tell if the jurors are paying attention or even in the same room as the computer

  8. You should know by now a Prince Albert will set off a metal detector...

Online trials would remove the human element, making a guilty verdict too easy to render.  The jury couldn't be sequestered.  Juror impersonation would be too easy to commit....hopefully, you get the point.

  9. Hmm....you might lose your internet connection. I'm pretty sure you cant lose sanity. ^-^

  10. the judges are too old could not figure out how to log into computer ?

  11. Lots of people take their pants off on the Internet, but at the court house? I see your point though, we should all take our pants off, especially at the court house!
