I'm not here to ask us to get along, I seek answers, I seek knowledge, Yes I am Muslim, does that change the way you look at me? Then how about this, I am not religious, more historical. Still no? Then how about this, I am a sinner, I drink, quit smoking and I have a girlfriend?Still don't see me any different? Then Congratulations.

I have religous friends, I disscuss politics, religion, I love to question anything and everything, now im questioning this, No one in the world is alike, everyone is different and everyone is connected, socially, and the deoxygenated blood running through our viens. We can be Muslim,Christain,Athesis,Jewish,Buddhist... gf is buddhist),Hindu,Taoist,Catholic, etc, it seems in Canada most of those things don't really matter, but then why do they matter backhome?Back in Asia,Europe,Africa? (Middle East=Asia).

  1. Sake, it's not in our nature. While there is evil in the world, there will be conflict. To stereotype is bad, and I am one of the worst offenders. I admit I distrust Muslims do to the hatred and violence done in the name of Allah. Like I told you yesterday, I want to see accountability of the leaders that provoke such violence.

I do not condone atrocities made in the name of God. We try to hold our clergy accountable here in the States. Some times not very well with the Catholic priests scandals. But we try. You have spoken to me in a kind manner, so I respond in kind.

Unfortunately, the sins of the father follow the son many times.

  2. Like Carlos Mencia said "Tag, your'e it!"

first the blacks were picked on, then the Mexicans and Chinese, now it's your turn in the eternal ***-kicking game

  3. No matter where you go (canada included) you will find people that discriminate or do not appreciate other peoples beliefs or cultures. Even right away you assume that because you define yourself as Muslim that we (the answers) will care.

But back to your question, we will never be able to get along if we refuse to look through only one perspective and only thought the "looking-glass" of our own culture and/or beliefs & values. Though I'm not Canadian I would assume that it is apart of the liberal ideology and liberal education that allows them (maybe more than other 'western' countries) to look beyond their own perspective.

Of course this is just my opinion. So take it or leave it. : )

  4. i truely believe its all cause of the media nothing else
