  1. I don't find that Canadians are against employing people of Indian descent at all. In fact, I work at a major Canadian law firm and we have several Indian employees; some are lawyers, others support staff. If your question is really more about yourself having trouble finding employment in Canada, perhaps you should work on your grammar. Although I don't believe most Canadians are against hiring Indian people, they do want employees who present a professional image for their company.

  2. Iam A Canadian Citizen n IAm Brown ( not Indian though) ... ..

I see All sort of ppl working in high paying jobs, there is not alot of racist people in Canada ... ..

At least compared to other countries.

If You Think Canada is Bad, Good Luck when u get deported pal. HaaaHaaa

  3. All Canadians where ever their origin have faults. Some are racist ,others are not. We are all people of fault. Unless your in an area familiar to you, you will always find struggle. Wash away of your prejudices of Canadian employers and of its general populace. After all they may have not wanted you for the job and if you continue your prejudice, you will never be employed.

    Accept that and move on.

  4. I think you have having a bit of a complex.  Maybe you should look at how you are applying to jobs.  Are you getting interviews?  Perhaps you are not even putting a job application in.  You have a lot of spelling and grammar errors in your post so maybe you have errors in your application.

It's skills, attitude, past performance that's going to get you hired.

You might start with ESL classes.

  5. I really hope this is not true, it is a shame to be judging ppl on their race  :(

  6. Never heard of Canadians opposed to giving jobs to Indian people . what are you speaking about ? Every where I have worked ...major corporation their have been many INdians .

On the other hand I have been into Indian owned franchises and have seen only INDIAN people working their .

    (ie tim Hortons )

name some places that you have been where they won't hire indians ...as that is discrimination and ilegal

  7. Let's start off by asking if you are you Canadian or Indian.

Next, let's go into your assumption that all "White(s)" are Canadian.

Once we have cleared these issues, and you clean up your spelling, capitalization and comparative adjectives, we can answer your question more clearly. If you believe you have been passed over for a job because of "Origin or Race"

Section 15 of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms says:  "Every individual is equal before and under the law and has the right to the equal protection and equal benefit of the law without discrimination and, in particular, without discrimination based on race, national or ethnic origin, colour, religion, s*x, age or mental or physical disability."

If you believe you have been discriminated against, take the matter and get a legal opinion and then consider action through the human rights tribunal.

  8. You are obviously Indian and have faced (or are facing) a tough time being accepted in the community and when you think about it there are a zillion reasons why the "White" and "Brown" are not on the same plane.

Personally speaking - if you are in Canada you have to be Canadian, so firstly stop being an Indian. Become a Canadian of Indian origin and think accordingly. Hey man, you have come here, renounced the home country and you still live in a time warp so how do you expect to be accepted ?

You changed the country and then you want the countrymen to change for you !! Get a life and change much more in yourself

    - the way you talk (too fast. thick or fake accent).

    - the way you look at the girls or the g**s and the way you talk about them (then don't "they" have the right to talk about the way your women folk dress ? the sari, the hijab, the burqa etc).

    - the way you walk (on the left side of the road)

    - the way you group (caste, color, region, language)

There are so many 'alien' things we do because it was a way of life and when you came to a new country you are asking for acceptance but not working for it.

Remember you worked hard to get the success and to fill in the forms and prepare for the interview to come to Canada. Unfortunately you have forgotten that you have to continue to work hard for the acceptance and that it will happen ONLY on Canadian terms because this is now home and not India.

There is a lot more .... and I say all this with conviction because I am also Indian and I see friends etc complaining (I should say whining) about this every day !

So stop this crib, go spend money (dont convert to rupees) and get a makeover, a new ward robe, learn to dance and play golf, go watch games with your neighbor (not to ogle his wife), condition yourself to the openness of society (promiscuity exists back home too), go to bars, learn to drink and hold your beer or alcohol.

You are where you want to be .... in Canada .... so make sure you join the mainstream and get a life

  9. they are afarid indians will take oveer.  like once one indian becomes managment, then mostly indians get hired. they tend to hire mostly indians.

  10. I think you got it wrong there pal.

If you are qualified and speak english then its no problem

Its when you come into a company and cant even fill out the application without help.

Remember, you came here, so you conform to us, not the other way around.

You are very offensive for asking this question.

Canada gave you everything you have, and now you want more and dont want to do anything to earn it and then you blame us because you dont have the skills required to co-exist in canada

    Shame on you
