Why Cant I connect My Laptop To My Wireless Modem ?

I Have a Thomson Speedtouch router ( modem ) My laptop is wirelessly enabled and my laptop finds the router but there is still a red light under the WLAN What Am i Doing Wrong. Can anyone Help ? :(

I believe check you getting started guide provided by router company in the whole package.....

guess i would help you....

even after this you solve your problem then check if the laptop has got all needful drivers for enabling wireless LAN facility...

A "red light" could mean anything.  Without having the manual I have no way to know...

Does your internet work?  If you have wireless connected and can get to the internet, that's about all there is to it.  Otherwise refer to the owner's manual the stuff came with.
