Why Chinese Martial Arts is the Best ?

Anyone can tell me why Chinese Martial is the best in the world ?

Which schools are the best ? I am thinking of sending my kids in the future to learn some martial arts

there is no "best" martial arts. however if you are dead set on having your kids learn a chinese martial arts i would go with san shou it includes punches kicks sometimes knees and elbows and takedowns.

watch out for old traditional styles that focus more on performance like drunken boxing or anything imitating an animal, because they probably do not train realistically and will result to your kids not being able to defend themselves if needed.

other (no chinese) martial arts you should look into: muay thai(thailand), brazilian jiujitsu(brazil, duh), krav maga(israel), mma/vale tudo(american/brazilian), kyukushinkai or freestyle karate(japan), sambo(russian), boxing(umm...greek i think), judo(japan)

there is no best martial art. certain martial arts are better at some things than other but weaker in other aspects.

chinese martial arts are considered by some as the best martial arts(i love chinese martail arts) but others will find them useless. most martial asian martial arts came in some way from china.

i love chinese martial arts becausee they are very flowing.

Chinese arts aren't flashy, wushu (the preformance art) is flashy for obvious reasons. Chinese styles ARE the best in the world, but require the most work so i suggest you take your children elsewhere. Try a place that has karate right in the name.

is not that they suck as someone here said, but its that there too flashy. however a good chinese art that is practical is sanshou, its kickboxing with takedowns. that is a good art to learn. oh and the japanese arts and muay thai and pradal serey all came from chinese budhists.

Chinese martial arts aren't the best in the world. Actually most of them downright suck. Perhaps you're thinking of Japanese arts.
