  1. Because it's boring. Hehe.

  2. the best excuse would probably be the amount of time it takes to play cricket.

  3. I think it's because it's not played in enough different countries. According to the website I found,

"To be added to the Summer Olympics, a sport or discipline must be widely practised by men in at least 75 countries on four continents and by women in at least 40 countries on three continents. To be added to the Winter Olympics, it must be widely practised in at least 25 countries on three continents."

So I'd guess that cricket just isn't widely practiced enough.

  4. 20-20 would be an awesome event but the Yanks don't play cricket so they would protest

  5. Because it's boring.

  6. I KNOW!!  Oh yes, let's have synchronized swimming (which isn't a sport), but not have one of the most popular and widely played games in the world.

... we need China to start playing

    edit:

Cricket is played in 161 countries with 145 of those being IOC Members: on the continents of Australia, Africa, Asia & Europe

  7. b/c it's boring like badmitten

  8. I think the ICC are lobbying for it to be included in the future, give the Indians a few more years and they'll have as much economic clout as the Chinese do now and will be able to demand its inclusion.
