Why Cuba and its population is blockaded ,segregated and oppressed ??

Cuba is a socialist country run by  the Communist party.  Cubans tell you that they are socialists and that communism is an ideal and they have a long way to go to get there.  Learning this was a surprise to me because I believed if the Communist Party ruled the country was communist.  Not so.

There are many countries doing good business with Cuba.  Our blockade hurts the people, but it also makes them stronger and more resilient.  Our blockade is not about caring for the well being of others, if it were so we would not be doing business with China, for example.  It's about arrogance and greed.  It's time to end it.

Overthrowing that government should be the first thing a new president does, its high time the US ends that nightmare 90 miles from out border. The people of Cuba deserve democracy as much as the Afghans and Iraqis do probably more so because I doubt any of them will be doing any suicide bombings there.
