  1. Members of the various parties choose their nominees in the way they see fit. Don't like it? Join a party yourself and work to change things. Start your own party.

    The two most powerful parties in this country (the ones with the most members) have chosen a representative type selection process for presidential nominations. The voters in each state get their chance to have their say. Haven't you been paying attention?


  2. Well, we have seen it before with the Supreme Court giving it to Bush, even though he did not get the most votes.

    The people do not always decide.  It is the powers that be, and it is designed that way.
