Why Did They Tear Down NICKELODEON Studios In Universal Flordia?

The lease would have ended on the building- It wasnt an active building really for about 5 years- just a horrible show went on reccurrent there for years- not much was taped there after ALL THAT, Kenan & Kel,Taina moved to Hollywood and all the game shows went out of production!

Well the lease did end- I believe it was 15 years or somethin like that, it never got renewed and what point was there too... it was a worthless building to Nickelodeon, for so many years- since Slime Time Live especially!

Nickelodeon On Sunset in Hollywood is where a lot of Nostalgia lies now- not only from shows taped there but it is the home to several- but I believe the building is getting sold or leased soon enough...Nickelodeon doesnt own any sound stages except for the one I visited in I think Burbank which is the animation studio- STL returned to there.

Now, it's the Blue Man Group thing. They thought they needed something new, so they changed it. I was just there last week! The rides were amazing!

For legal and cost reasons: The contract between Universal Studios and Nickelodeon ended at the beginning of this year. So, rather than renewing that contract Universal Studios took another direction. For example in Hollywood, the Nickelodeon Blast Zone playground has been changed to a Curious George playground. Same reason for why we, at USH, no longer have a Van Helsing maze or Marvel characters walking around the park anymore.

OMG!!! I have no clue wutsoever but it was the dumbest thing they have done in a long time!!! I LOVE universal sooo much but i was devistated when i found out that they tore down nick studios..and instead they put the blue man group in...who wants to see that!? Im just really mad..i will definatly continue to go to universal because i love it so much but it will never be the same without nick studios.
