  1. Mainly because I've seen the environmental damage done by the cattle and sheep industries. I eat chicken and fish, but no red meat.

  2. 1>> I became a vegan because it is a better nutritional diet.

2>> Vegan are healthier because the average vegan is lighter than the average meat eater in Britain.

3>> I became a Vegan because I was told about what happens to meat in the gut. It stays there for ages and rots, getting infected with bacteria.

4>> I became a Vegan because I care about what I put into my body. I don’t want to put chemicals in there, nor anything dead. Plants are natural, so they can’t be harmful.

5>> I became a Vegan, because I want to live in a more natural way

6>> I became a Vegan, because stock farming is not economically viable. We could feed the Third World if everyone became a Vegan.

7>> I became a Vegan because I don’t want to finance death. I don’t mind wearing a woollen jumper, because they don’t kill the sheep to get the wool.

8>> I became a Vegan because I think that farming animals is cruel. Farmers do not care about the welfare of their animals; If do, it would be too expensive to sell.

9>> I became a Vegan because crop farming is more efficient than stock farming. 100 units of food energy fed to an animal become only 10 units of meat, so meat production is inefficient.

10>> I don't want to eat anything that I wouldn't be prepared to kill myself.

11>> I don't want to eat anything that I wouldn't be prepared to kill by myself.

12>> I became a Vegan because we don’t need meat.

13>> I became a Vegan because I don’t want to shorten the dairy cow’s natural lifespan from 25 years to 11 years.

14>> I became a Vegan because that’s the way society is going. Thousands of people every minute are becoming Vegan.

    15>> I became a Vegan because I’m a biologist; I care about ecosystem & biodiversity.

16>> I became a Vegan because it is the future.

There is an annoying connection made by many people that the way things are going is necessarily good, and/or inevitable. Perhaps the current trends are bad, and the future will not be as good as it could be. Perhaps things are heading a certain way, but this does not mean that we are powerless to stop them, nor does it mean that we should not try. This argument does not work either. One has to supply actual reason for vegetarianism, and this is not a reason, it is just an excuse at best.

17>> I became a Vegan simply because I love animals, but craved to meat, honey, egg and dairy.

18>> I became a Vegan because many scientists, philosophers, environmentalists, humanitarians, spiritualists, thinkers and SICK PERSONS were/are abstained from meat. Meat is absolutely not necessary to make me smart.

19>> AT LAST - THE REAL REASON PEOPLE BECOME VEGAN

Veganism is the new Puritanism. This is my belief. It is also one of my arguments against veganism, and although it may at first seem a flippant argument, I believe that it is very powerful. Veganism is miserable. It attacks one of life’s greatest and surest pleasures - enjoying good food. Anything which makes people less happy is bad.

  3. Well, I've got a bit fight in me, so, I would personally punch him, haha! However, my anger issues are not ones you should mimic, heh!

Well, I became a vegetarian because I am flesh and blood and so are the animals I use to eat. Animals are not much different from us, other than our opposable thumbs (but some animals have those, too, even, huh?). They have languages and form communities. They come running when they hear of of their kind in danger, don't they? And sometimes when they hear other animals in danger, too (did you know dolphins have been known to protect humans from shark attacks. How amazing is that?!) . They protect and love family and friends, just like we do. The thought of eating flesh when I have the ability to go to the store and buy myself a yummy tofu burger instead (I recommend Garden Burger with a bunch of BBQ sauce on it) is sickening. Sure, if you don't kill that deer, another animal could, but that animals doesn't really have the option of protein vitamin supplements and tofu, does it? All it knows is that it needs meat to survive. YOU don't! Because you have other options. The animal killing for its cubs isn't cruel, the hunter killing for a feast is.

  4. i would say it all depends on how they're being killed.  I highly doubt he is killing them with tranquilizer darts, so more than likely they feel pain before they die;

  5. your mums boyfriend is increaply stupid

tell him who ever thinks killing animals is fun is sick

  6. There isn't much you CAn say to that. People Are part of the cycle of life. He can Choose to help with the overpopulation of deer in North America. ( And as much as I hate to admit it, it is a huge problem) Hopefully he will eat the meat and not do it for sport.

  7. im a vegetarian to

i would say that they could die a worse way but that does not mean that you have to go and shoot them to kill them.

dont go hunting and tell him how you feel if he really liked you then he should understand your feelings

  8. Tell him that you don't enjoy killing animals for sport an exploiting their lack of human technology using a gun, and you'd rather they live normally in the natural circle of life.

And if he can't understand that you don't want to go hunting, then it's his loss.

Personally, I believe only if we get sent back to the Stone Ages is it okay to kill animals, as we may not be able to just eat the grass we're standing on. But we can thrive perfectly fine without rudely cutting short the lives of animals that as much of a right to be here.

  9. im a vegitarian and what he said is not necisarily true yes they could die by being eaten or killed some other way but there is a chance that the animal could live a long and good life and why should someone take that away from them. the point is killing an animal could be the end of a long and good life. so why do it . killing is wrong and shooting an animal is not compleetly painless dont do it.

  10. I became a vegetarian after I watched the documentary "Earthlings."

Just tell him you don't feel comfortable going hunting and that you don't support it. Tell him no matter what, the animal is going to feel pain.

  11. Tell him girls don't hunt... I don't know.

  12. You have two questions here -- I became vegetarian for spiritual reasons; I have remained vegetarian for more than half of my life for all the reasons you can think of.

What would I say to your Mom's hunter boy-friend? "No thank you. I am not interested." I would also say to him that his arguments are specious. Actively participating is a very different thing from being on a  planet where  the world has its cruel ways and animals do die ugly deaths.".Your choices matter. Stick to your principles.

  13. Well technically a human starving in Africa could die in a 'worse' way than being shot in the ******** head.
