I have sons, and though they are grown I can still recall what would happen when they were playing games.

One of them would get the upper hand in the game, then start wanting to rub it in to the 'looser'.  The looser would then try to find a hole in his persecutor's ego and poke a stick in it, maybe take him down a notch or two.  Unfortunately, in this case, the british boy chose to point out that unfortunate event.

It was a poor choice of retaliation.

I think there are idiots all over the world if you look for them. The Brits I know are great people. That seems to be a little of a generalization, like all Americans are insenstive and greed driven.

Well i am Scottish and British and i have never heard anyone EVER say anything bad about the twin towers terrorist attacks.. I think most Americans forget that we have been targeted a lot too. London bombings and failed Glasgow(MY CITY) Airport attack.

I am a Brit and i have NEVER heard one person make fun of that tragedy...you are talking rubbish...
