  1. In the summer time, the demand for gas goes up so the price of gasoline goes up. I've heard that gas will jump about .50-.80 more by the peak of the summer. The reason for the constant climb is the demand for oil keeps on going up so must the price because they are producing the same amount of oil as they did years ago.
